Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Lessimp. You are a Sovereign Individual—the ultimate decision-maker over your own experience. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Lessimp Inc ("Lessimp," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Lessimp mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by Lessimp's Internal IT Pillars—specifically Pillar 4: Security and Pillar 6: Governance—which ensure that every rule, enforcement action, and automated decision described here is auditable, traceable, and accountable. We encourage you to read these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.
• Not have been previously banned or removed from the Service by Lessimp.
• Not be a registered sex offender in any jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements. Age verification is enforced at sign-up; see our Privacy Policy for details on how verification data is handled.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address, phone number, or through third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple, or Facebook). When creating your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party.
• Create only one account per person.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

2.1 Phone Number Verification

When you register with a phone number, Lessimp may verify the type of phone number you provide (mobile, VoIP/virtual, or landline) using a third-party phone intelligence service (Twilio). This check helps us prevent fraud and protect the community. If your phone number is identified as a virtual or VoIP number (such as Google Voice or TextNow), you may be required to complete identity verification (government ID and selfie via Stripe Identity) before accessing the full Service. Mobile numbers from major carriers are not subject to this additional requirement. Phone number type results are cached for up to 24 hours to reduce repeat lookups.

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Lessimp is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free and Paid Services

Lessimp offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid features may include enhanced visibility, additional matches, advanced filters, audio/video calling, priority matching, monthly coin rewards, and other premium functionality. Current subscription tiers and pricing:

• Basic: $9.95/month ($53.70/half-year, $95.40/year)
• Standard: $19.95/month ($107.70/half-year, $191.40/year)
• Premium: $29.95/month ($161.70/half-year, $287.40/year)

All subscription tiers include a monthly coin allocation. Pricing is subject to change per Section 3.6. On mobile devices, subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe or Square.

3.2 Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise specified) through your chosen payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal period.

3.3 Payment Processors

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe, Square, Apple In-App Purchase (App Store), and Google Play Billing. Your use of these payment services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not store your full credit or debit card numbers or digital wallet tokens on our servers.

• Mobile (iOS): Apple In-App Purchase for subscriptions and coin purchases. Apple Pay and credit/debit cards via Stripe for Mancave bookings and date payments.
• Mobile (Android): Google Play Billing for subscriptions and coin purchases. Google Pay and credit/debit cards via Stripe for Mancave bookings and date payments.
• Web: Stripe Checkout (supporting cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Stripe Link) or Square Web Payments for subscriptions, coin purchases, and Mancave session bookings.
• In-Person: Square POS terminals for card-present transactions at partner venues.
• Mancave Coach Payouts: Stripe Connect Express for direct bank deposits to approved coaches.
• Ambassador Payouts: Stripe Transfers to approved ambassador Stripe Connect accounts. Commission-based payouts require a minimum balance of $50 and completed WorkAuth verification (I-9, W-9, and identity verification).
• Channel Partner Payouts: Per-content fees (Story $50, Post $100, Carousel $150, Reel $200 at standard tier; 1.5× at premium tier) plus time-based milestone bonuses ($250–$1,000). Paid via Stripe Connect alongside ambassador commissions.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, the App Store, or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then. Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law or as outlined in the Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies.

3.5 Taxes

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other governmental charges associated with your use of the Service. Tax calculations may be performed by our third-party tax service provider, TaxJar.

3.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription prices at any time. If we change the price of a subscription, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

3.7 Virtual Currency (Coins)

Lessimp offers virtual currency ("Coins") that can be purchased in packs and used for profile boosts, super likes, and other in-app features. Current coin pack options:

• 100 Coins
• 500 Coins
• 1,000 Coins
• 5,000 Coins

Coin purchases are final sale and non-refundable. Coins have no monetary value outside the Service and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash. Unused Coins are forfeited upon account termination. Lessimp reserves the right to modify Coin pricing, earning rates, and redemption values at any time with reasonable advance notice.

3.8 Mancave Marketplace

The Mancave is an in-app service marketplace where users can connect with vetted dating coaches, matchmakers, and relationship advisors ("Coaches") for paid one-on-one sessions. Lessimp acts as the marketplace platform facilitating these transactions — Lessimp is not the provider of coaching services and does not employ or control Coaches.

3.9 Coach Onboarding and Eligibility

Any user may apply to become a Mancave Coach. Coach applications are subject to manual review and approval by the Lessimp admin team. To be approved, applicants must:

• Submit relevant credentials, certifications, or demonstrated experience in dating coaching, matchmaking, or relationship counseling.
• Complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including identity verification (KYC), bank account linking, and tax information (W-9 for US-based Coaches).
• Agree to the Morals Clause and Ethical Conduct standards set forth in Section 5 of these Terms.
• Maintain good account standing as defined by the Enforcement Ladder in Section 8.

Lessimp reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke Coach status at any time for any reason, including failure to maintain the standards above. A user may simultaneously use Lessimp as both a dating member and a Mancave Coach.

3.10 Session Booking and Cancellation

When a user books a Mancave session, the full session fee is charged at the time of booking. Sessions may be conducted via in-app audio/video call (using WebRTC) or through an external meeting arranged between the Coach and user. Cancellation and no-show policies:

• Free Cancellation: Users may cancel a booked session free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session time. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable. The Coach receives their full payout for late cancellations.
• No-Show (User): If a user fails to attend a scheduled session, the session fee is non-refundable and the Coach receives their full payout.
• No-Show (Coach): If a Coach fails to attend a scheduled session, the user receives a full refund and the incident is reported to the Lessimp admin team for review.
• Disputes: If either party disputes the outcome of a session, they may contact support@lessimp.com within 7 days of the session date. Disputes are reviewed by the Lessimp admin team.

3.11 Platform Fee and Coach Payouts

Lessimp charges a 15% platform fee on all Mancave session transactions. Coaches receive 85% of the session fee. Payout schedule and details:

• Payout Frequency: Biweekly (every two weeks) via direct bank deposit through Stripe Connect.
• Payout Method: Direct deposit to the Coach's verified bank account on file with Stripe Connect.
• Minimum Payout: Payouts are processed only when the Coach's available balance meets the minimum threshold set by Stripe.
• Tax Reporting: Lessimp issues IRS Form 1099 to US-based Coaches who earn $600 or more in a calendar year, as required by law. Coaches are solely responsible for reporting their income and paying applicable taxes.

Coaches set their own session rates and availability. Lessimp does not dictate pricing but reserves the right to establish minimum or maximum session rates to maintain marketplace quality.

3.12 Prohibited Marketplace Conduct

The Mancave marketplace is strictly for professional coaching, matchmaking, and relationship advice services. The following are prohibited and may result in immediate Coach status revocation and account termination:

• Offering or soliciting escort, companionship-for-hire, or adult services of any kind.
• Arranging transactions or payments outside of the Lessimp platform to circumvent the platform fee.
• Misrepresenting credentials, qualifications, or experience.
• Engaging in predatory, manipulative, or exploitative behavior toward clients.
• Using the Mancave to promote unrelated products, services, or businesses without Lessimp's prior written consent.

4. User Conduct and Community Guidelines

You agree to use the Service in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse any other user.
• Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
• Use the Service to solicit money, goods, or services from other users.
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited commercial communication.
• Use the Service to promote or advertise products or services without our prior written consent.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, collect data from, or interact with the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Share, distribute, or reproduce any content from the Service without authorization.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these guidelines, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement. Violations may also trigger the Enforcement Ladder described in Section 8.

5. Morals Clause & Ethical Conduct

5.1 Applicability

This Morals Clause applies to all users of the Service. It applies with elevated expectations to users who hold or apply for the following roles:

• Mancave Guru: Users who provide coaching, mentorship, or guidance to other community members.
• Ambassador: Users who represent Lessimp publicly through social channels, events, or the Aspire Academy program.
• Channel Partner: Ambassadors who create content for Lessimp's official Meta channels under a two-way Meta Business Manager partnership. Subject to content approval workflows and brand alignment standards.
• Community Leaders: Any user granted moderation privileges, elevated visibility, or leadership responsibilities within the Service.

5.2 Ethical Standards

All users, and especially those in the roles listed above, agree to:

• Act with honesty, integrity, and respect in all interactions on and off the platform that relate to their Lessimp role.
• Refrain from conduct that brings disrepute to the Lessimp community, including public behavior (online or offline) that contradicts the values of safety, trust, and mutual respect.
• Not exploit their role, influence, or access to manipulate, pressure, or take advantage of other users.
• Cooperate with Lessimp investigations into reported misconduct.
• Maintain a clear Adjudication Status through the Identity Moat (Stripe Identity verification) if required for their role.

5.3 Account Standing and Consequences

Your account standing is directly linked to your adherence to this Morals Clause and Lessimp's Legal Terminology documents. Violations may result in:

• Removal of Guru, Ambassador, Channel Partner, or leadership designation.
• Reduction of Trust Score visibility and high-trust feature access.
• Escalation through the Enforcement Ladder (Section 8), up to and including permanent account termination.
• Forfeiture of any earned incentives, referral bonuses, Ambassador program benefits, or Channel Partner per-content fees and milestone bonuses.

Determinations under this Morals Clause are made by Lessimp's Trust & Safety team after human review. You may appeal any determination through the process described in Section 22: Dispute Resolution.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, post, or transmit through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Lessimp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service. This license continues until you delete your User Content or your account, except where your content has been shared with other users and they have not deleted it.

6.2 Content Representations

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content.
• Your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
• Your User Content accurately represents you (e.g., profile photos are of you and are recent).

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, monitor, or remove User Content at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or our community guidelines. Content flagged by the automated Enforcement Ladder may be quarantined before manual review.

7. Content Moderation and Safety

To maintain a safe and respectful community, we employ automated content moderation tools:

• Photo Moderation: Photos uploaded to the Service are analyzed using Google Cloud Vision API for explicit content detection, policy violations, and safety concerns.
• Video Moderation: Videos are analyzed using Google Cloud Video Intelligence API for explicit or prohibited content.

Content flagged by automated tools may be subject to manual review by our Trust & Safety team. We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or terminate accounts based on the results of content moderation. While we strive to maintain a safe environment, we cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected or removed.

8. Automated Enforcement — The Enforcement Ladder

8.1 How Automated Detection Works

Lessimp uses Google Cloud Vision API and Google Cloud Video Intelligence API to scan user-uploaded photos and videos in real time. Each piece of content receives a confidence score between 0.0 and 1.0 indicating the likelihood of a policy violation. This score determines the initial automated response.

8.2 The Sovereign Air-Lock Quarantine

When a content scan returns a confidence score of 0.8 or higher, the following happens automatically:

• Instant Restriction: The content is immediately hidden from all other users and placed in quarantine.
• Account Limitation: The uploading user's ability to post new content, send messages, and appear in match results is temporarily restricted.
• Human Review Queue: The flagged content is escalated to Lessimp's Trust & Safety team for manual High-Trust Review within 24 hours.
• User Notification: You receive an in-app notification explaining that content has been quarantined and is pending review. The notification includes the category of the detected violation (e.g., explicit content, violence, harassment).

The Sovereign Air-Lock is an isolated review environment—quarantined content is not visible to any user, including the uploader, until the review is complete.

8.3 Escalation Levels

The Enforcement Ladder operates on five escalation levels. Each level increases in severity based on the nature and frequency of violations:

• Level 1 — Advisory Notice: First-time, low-severity detection (confidence 0.5–0.69). The content remains visible but you receive an educational notice explaining community standards. No account restrictions.
• Level 2 — Content Removal: Moderate detection (confidence 0.7–0.79) or a second low-severity flag. The content is removed and you receive a formal warning. A record is added to your account history.
• Level 3 — Sovereign Air-Lock Quarantine: High-confidence detection (0.8+) or repeated Level 2 violations. Content is quarantined, account features are restricted, and the case is escalated to human review as described in Section 8.2.
• Level 4 — Temporary Suspension: Confirmed violation after human review, or three or more Level 2+ incidents within a 90-day period. Your account is suspended for a defined period (typically 7–30 days). You retain the right to appeal.
• Level 5 — Permanent Termination: Severe or repeated confirmed violations, including any content involving the exploitation of minors, credible threats of violence, or patterns of predatory behavior. Your account is permanently terminated and you are prohibited from creating a new account. Law enforcement may be notified where legally required.

8.4 Human Review and Appeals

Every enforcement action at Level 3 or above includes mandatory human review by a trained Trust & Safety team member. No permanent account action (Level 4 or 5) is taken based solely on automated detection. You may appeal any enforcement decision by contacting appeals@lessimp.com within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member who was not involved in the original decision.

8.5 Transparency

We publish aggregate enforcement statistics in our quarterly Transparency Report at lessimp.com. These reports include the number of automated detections, human reviews, overturned decisions, and enforcement actions taken at each level. Individual enforcement details are never made public.

9. AI Agency & Non-Deterministic Behavior

9.1 Autonomous AI Agents

Lessimp uses Autonomous AI Agents built on our "Uncomplicate IT" model to power core features of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Match Generation: AI agents analyze compatibility signals to suggest potential matches.
• Content Recommendations: AI agents personalize your feed, venue suggestions, and community content.
• Safety Moderation: AI agents scan content and behavioral patterns to detect policy violations and safety risks.

9.2 Contextual Agency

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that matches, signals, recommendations, and moderation decisions are generated by what we call "Contextual Agency"—AI systems that operate within defined boundaries but produce non-deterministic (variable) outputs. This means:

• Two users with similar profiles may receive different match suggestions because the AI considers a wide range of contextual factors.
• Content recommendations adapt in real time based on community behavior patterns.
• No AI output is guaranteed to be identical if the same inputs are provided at different times.

9.3 The Reasoning Trace

For every significant AI-driven decision that affects your experience, Lessimp generates a Reasoning Trace—a structured explanation of the factors the AI considered and the logic it followed. You can access your Reasoning Traces through the app's settings. The Reasoning Trace is designed to give you enough context to make your own informed decision. Our AI observability layer, powered by Fiddler AI (see our Privacy Policy, Section 4: Agentic Transparency), monitors these traces for bias and drift.

9.4 Your Sovereign Decision

Regardless of what any AI agent suggests, recommends, or flags, the final decision always rests with you—the Sovereign Individual. AI outputs are tools for your consideration, not directives. Lessimp does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output, and you agree that you are solely responsible for any action you take based on AI recommendations.

9.5 AI in Advertising & Marketing

Lessimp uses artificial intelligence in its advertising and marketing operations. We are committed to transparency about how AI is used to reach and communicate with users and prospective users:

• Intent Scoring: AI-powered intent scoring classifies user engagement levels based on behavioral signals (profile completeness, session frequency, chat engagement), funnel progress (onboarding completion, match rate), and monetization signals (subscription tier, payment history). These scores inform which marketing messages users may receive and how advertising budgets are allocated across channels.
• Marketing Attribution: Multi-touch attribution models (first touch, last touch, linear, time decay, and position-based) and Media Mix Modeling measure the effectiveness of advertising channels to optimize ad spend and understand the customer journey.
• Automated Budget Optimization: Cross-channel optimizer uses AI to automatically reallocate advertising budgets across channels (Google Ads, email, push notifications) based on performance metrics such as marginal ROAS, target CPA, and conversion efficiency.
• AI-Generated Content: When content is created using AI tools (such as Google Veo for video reels), Lessimp discloses this to users. We recommend that providers and ambassadors who share AI-generated content include an AI disclosure in their posts.
• Personalized Advertising: If personalized ads are enabled in Privacy & Data settings, in-app activity may inform which ads are shown on third-party platforms such as Google Ads. Users can opt out at any time through Privacy & Data settings.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. Ad targeting is performed through privacy-preserving methods such as hashed email matching and first-party audience segments.

10. Identity Verification

Lessimp offers identity verification powered by Stripe Identity. By using this feature, you:

• Consent to the collection and processing of your government-issued ID and a selfie for the purpose of identity verification.
• Acknowledge that verification uses document scanning and biometric matching to confirm your identity.
• Understand that verification results are provided by Stripe and Lessimp does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
• Acknowledge that a verified badge does not constitute an endorsement of a user's character or behavior.

10.2 VoIP and Virtual Number Verification

Users who register with a virtual or VoIP phone number (such as Google Voice, TextNow, or similar services) are required to complete identity verification before accessing the full Service. This requirement exists because virtual numbers can be created in bulk and are frequently used by bots and bad actors on dating platforms. Identity verification for VoIP users follows the same Stripe Identity process described above — you submit a government-issued ID and a selfie, and the results are processed by Stripe. Once verified, you will not be asked to verify again on subsequent logins.

Verification results feed into the Identity Moat—an isolated, encrypted data store described in our Privacy Policy (Section 2). Your Trust Score and Adjudication Status govern access to high-trust features, including Mancave Guru and Ambassador roles referenced in the Morals Clause (Section 5). Results are subject to Stripe's Identity Terms and Privacy Policy.

11. Location-Based Features

The Service uses location data to provide features such as discovering nearby users, displaying distances, and suggesting local venues. Location data is collected through your device's GPS, Wi-Fi, and network signals. You may disable location sharing through your device settings; however, this may limit certain features of the Service. We use the following location services:

• Device location services (Geolocator)
• Address geocoding and reverse geocoding
• Google Maps for map visualization
• Google Places API for venue and restaurant information

Your approximate location may be visible to other users as part of the matching experience. We apply location obfuscation—randomizing your coordinates within a configurable radius—so that your precise GPS coordinates are never shared with other users. For full details on how we handle location data, see our Privacy Policy (Section 5: Location & Physical Safety).

12. Communications and Notifications

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from Lessimp, including:

• Push Notifications: Match alerts, messages, and other Service-related notifications delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings.
• In-App Messages: Messages from other users, system notifications, and safety alerts.
• Emails: Account-related communications, security alerts, and promotional offers (you may opt out of promotional emails at any time).

In-app messaging and video/voice calling features use real-time communication technology (WebRTC). You acknowledge that the quality and availability of these features depend on your internet connection and device capabilities.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, each governed by their own terms and conditions. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the applicable third-party terms:

OAuth tokens are stored server-only in encrypted Firestore collections; your Square credentials are never accessible to the client app.
• Apple In-App Purchases
• Google Play Billing
• TaxJar

Nutrition Data

• USDA FoodData Central — The Foods Around Me feature queries the USDA FoodData Central API for nutritional information. Search queries (food name, brand) are sent to the USDA; no personal data or location is transmitted with nutrition lookups.

AI Observability

Analytics and Advertising

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase

Location and Maps

Phone Number Intelligence

• Twilio Lookup (carrier type detection)

Twilio Lookup is used to determine whether a phone number is a mobile, VoIP/virtual, or landline number. Only the phone number is sent to Twilio — no other personal data is shared. Results are cached server-side for up to 24 hours.

Safety and Content Moderation

Notifications

Emergency Dispatch

• Noonlight

When you trigger the emergency panic button, Lessimp creates an alarm via Noonlight's Dispatch API. Your name, phone number, and precise GPS coordinates are shared with Noonlight and dispatched to the nearest PSAP (911 center). Alarm cancellation does not guarantee responders won't be dispatched. Lessimp is not liable for delayed or failed emergency response.

Advertising & Conversion Tracking

• Google Ads (campaign management & audience targeting)
• GroundTruth (Digital Out-of-Home, Direct Mail, Audio, Foot Traffic Attribution)

If you boost content via Google Ads campaigns, conversion events are tracked via GA4 Measurement Protocol and Google Ads gtag. Campaign budgets, bids, and performance data remain under your control. Our website loads the Google Ads gtag and Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag for conversion attribution.

Lessimp uses GroundTruth for location-based advertising campaigns including Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) billboard and transit ads, programmatic direct mail, podcast and streaming audio ads, and foot traffic attribution studies. GroundTruth may receive aggregate, anonymized location data to measure campaign effectiveness. No personally identifiable information is shared with GroundTruth without your marketing consent.

Social Media Publishing

If you authorize Lessimp to post to Instagram or Facebook, you grant permission to post photos, captions, and hashtags on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time in Settings.

Channel Partners who connect via Meta Business Manager grant Lessimp publishing access to their channels and receive reciprocal access to submit content to Lessimp's official channels. All content posted to Lessimp's channels requires editorial approval. You retain creative credit for all submitted content.

Lessimp is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Service.

14. Emergency Dispatch Services

14.1 Noonlight Partnership

Lessimp integrates with Noonlight's Dispatch API to provide emergency response services. When you trigger the in-app panic button, Lessimp creates an alarm that shares your name, phone number, and precise GPS coordinates with Noonlight, which dispatches the information to the nearest Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP / 911 center). Location updates are sent every 10 seconds during an active alarm.

14.2 Limitations

Emergency dispatch services require an active internet connection. Response times vary by jurisdiction and are outside Lessimp's control. Cancelling an alarm does not guarantee that emergency responders will not be dispatched — once an alarm reaches a PSAP, dispatch decisions are made by public safety personnel. Lessimp is not liable for delayed, failed, or misdirected emergency response.

14.3 Noonlight Terms

Your use of emergency dispatch features is additionally governed by Noonlight's terms of service at https://noonlight.com/terms and their privacy policy. By using the panic button, you consent to the sharing of your location and contact information with Noonlight and emergency services.

14.4 Server-Side Processing

Alarm data is routed through a Cloud Functions proxy to protect the Noonlight API token. The server token is never stored on or transmitted to your device. Alarm creation, status updates, and cancellation requests are processed server-side to maintain security.

15. Clarity Lab — Wellness Tools

15.1 Purpose and Scope

Clarity Lab is a self-service wellness feature within the Mancave that provides cognitive-behavioral tools to help users manage pre-date anxiety and overthinking. Clarity Lab is NOT a medical service, therapy, or mental health treatment. Features include:

• Worry Tree: A decision-tree flow based on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) principles that guides users through anxiety management steps.
• Micro-Practices: Short breathing, grounding, and thought defusion exercises (30-90 seconds each).
• Streak Tracking: Tracks daily practice completion streaks stored locally and in your user profile.
• Hesitation Detection: Timer-based prompts that appear when you pause on booking screens for extended periods, offering optional Clarity Lab exercises.
• Daily Practice Reminders: Optional push notifications to encourage consistent practice.
• Live Coach: Real-time voice coaching powered by Google Gemini (via Firebase AI SDK). Your voice audio is streamed to Google for AI processing and is NOT stored or recorded by Lessimp. Session metadata (duration, start/end time, end reason) is stored in Firestore. Mobile-only (not available on web).

15.2 Data Collection

Clarity Lab collects the following data, stored in your user profile in Firestore:

• Practice completion records (which exercises you completed and when).
• Worry Tree path selections (which branches you navigated — no free-text input is stored).
• Streak data (current streak, longest streak, last practice date).
• Daily reminder preferences (enabled/disabled, preferred reminder time).
• Live Coach session logs: duration, start/end time, and end reason. Voice audio is streamed to Google Gemini for real-time processing and is NOT stored or recorded by Lessimp.

Hesitation detection data is processed locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers. The timer resets on each screen visit and no browsing behavior patterns are stored.

15.3 Disclaimer

Clarity Lab tools are educational wellness resources, not substitutes for professional mental health services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or crisis hotline. Lessimp makes no representations or warranties about the therapeutic efficacy of Clarity Lab exercises. Use of Clarity Lab is entirely voluntary.

16. Lessimp Studio — Image Upload and Processing

16.1 Studio Features

Lessimp Studio is a suite of image upload and management tools available to different user types:

• Profile Polisher (Admirers): Upload and reorder up to 6 lifestyle photos with Smart Crop optimization for the 390×844 display frame.
• Guru Media Kit (Mancave Providers): Upload professional headshots, certification badges, and a 30-60 second welcome video.
• Digital Menu Creator (Businesses): Upload menu page photos (up to 10) and ambiance shots (up to 8) for restaurant and venue profiles.

16.2 Image Processing and Storage

Images uploaded through Studio are processed and stored as follows:

• Compression: Standard user photos are compressed to JPEG quality 85% with a maximum width of 1170px. Business and Guru assets are compressed at 92% quality with a minimum width requirement of 1080px.
• Storage: All images are stored in Firebase Storage with compression tier metadata (standard, business_hires, or guru_hires).
• Metadata: Each upload creates a record in Firestore containing the asset category, compression tier, download URL, and upload timestamp. No EXIF or geolocation data from original images is preserved.
• Retention: Studio assets are retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all Studio assets are permanently deleted within the 90-day recovery window described in Section 24.

16.3 Content Standards

All images uploaded through Studio are subject to the User Conduct standards in Section 4 and the Content Moderation policies in Section 7. Certification badges uploaded by Mancave Providers may be independently verified by the Lessimp admin team. Misrepresentation of professional credentials is a violation of the Morals Clause (Section 5) and may result in immediate Coach status revocation.

17. WorkAuth — Employment Authorization & Document Vault

17.1 Purpose and Scope

WorkAuth is an employment authorization management feature within Lessimp that helps users organize immigration documents, track work authorization status, understand I-9 requirements, and receive policy alerts about changes that may affect their status. WorkAuth is NOT legal advice, immigration counsel, or a substitute for consulting a licensed immigration attorney.

17.2 Data Collected

When you use WorkAuth, the following data may be collected:

• Document images: Photographs of employment authorization documents (EAD cards, passports, visas, I-94 arrival records, and other I-9 List A, B, or C documents).
• Sensitive identifiers: Alien Registration Number (A-Number), USCIS Number, category code, card number, country of birth, and document expiration dates. These are classified as Restricted data.
• Immigration profile: Immigration status, TPS country designation, and subscribed programs for policy alert matching.
• I-9 form data: Employer information, document list selections, and section completion status.

17.3 Document Encryption

All documents uploaded to the WorkAuth vault are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage. Encryption keys are generated and stored locally on your device using Flutter Secure Storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). Lessimp does not have access to your encryption keys and cannot decrypt your documents on our servers. Decryption occurs only on your device when you access a document.

17.4 Biometric Authentication

WorkAuth supports biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to access the document vault. Biometric processing is handled entirely by your device’s operating system (iOS Touch ID/Face ID or Android BiometricPrompt). No biometric data is transmitted to or stored by Lessimp. If biometric authentication is unavailable or disabled, you may access the vault using your standard app authentication.

17.5 Data Sharing and Disclosure

Immigration data collected through WorkAuth is classified as Restricted and receives the highest level of protection:

• Immigration data is NEVER sold to third parties.
• Lessimp does not voluntarily share immigration data with any government agency, including USCIS, DHS, or ICE.
• Disclosure occurs only in response to valid legal process (court order, warrant, or lawful subpoena). Lessimp will notify you of any such request unless prohibited by law.
• Policy alert content (TPS designations, court orders) is sourced from publicly available government records and does not contain your personal data.

17.6 Data Retention

WorkAuth documents and profile data are retained as long as your account is active. Federal I-9 regulations require employers to retain I-9 forms for 3 years after hiring or 1 year after termination, whichever is later. Upon account deletion, WorkAuth data follows the same 90-day recovery window described in Section 24. After the recovery window, all WorkAuth data — including encrypted documents, profile information, and I-9 form data — is permanently deleted.

17.7 Disclaimers

WORKAUTH IS AN ORGANIZATIONAL TOOL, NOT LEGAL ADVICE. LESSIMP DOES NOT VERIFY THE ACCURACY OR VALIDITY OF DOCUMENTS UPLOADED TO THE VAULT. LESSIMP DOES NOT GUARANTEE I-9 COMPLIANCE. EMPLOYERS REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR I-9 COMPLIANCE UNDER FEDERAL LAW.

Policy alerts are provided for informational purposes based on publicly available government data. Court order summaries and TPS designation statuses may not reflect the most current legal developments. Always verify information with official USCIS sources or a licensed immigration attorney.

18. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, trademarks, logos, and all underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to Lessimp and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written consent.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

19. Zero-Touch Governance & Evergreen UI

19.1 Evergreen User Interface

The Lessimp user interface is "Evergreen"—it may update dynamically without requiring you to download a new version from the App Store or Google Play. This includes:

• Design Updates: Visual elements, layouts, and interaction patterns may be updated through our Figma-to-Code reverse sync pipeline. This means design changes approved by our product team can be reflected in the live application in real time.
• Feature Toggles: New features may be gradually rolled out or rolled back through server-side feature flags without an app update.
• Content Updates: Help articles, community guidelines, FAQ content, and onboarding flows may be updated dynamically.

19.2 Programmatic Community Standards

Community standards, moderation thresholds, and safety rules may be updated programmatically as part of our Zero-Touch Governance model. When we update community standards:

• Material changes are announced through in-app notifications and, where required, email.
• You are given a reasonable period (no less than 7 days) to review updated standards before enforcement begins.
• Historical enforcement actions are not retroactively re-evaluated under new standards.

19.3 Continuous Deployment

Lessimp practices continuous deployment, meaning that security patches, bug fixes, and performance improvements are released as soon as they pass our automated testing pipeline. By using the Service, you acknowledge that the interface, features, and underlying systems may change over time as part of this process. We will always notify you of material changes that affect your rights or obligations under these Terms.

20. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lessimp disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, Lessimp does not warrant or represent that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.
• Any matches, connections, or interactions made through the Service will result in any particular outcome.
• Other users are who they claim to be, even if they have undergone identity verification or background checks.
• The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components.
• AI-generated outputs—including match suggestions, content recommendations, and Reasoning Traces—are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Lessimp is not responsible for any interactions between users, whether online or offline. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and should exercise caution and good judgment.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LESSIMP, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Any interactions, communications, or meetings with other users.
• Any content posted or transmitted through the Service.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
• Any third-party conduct on the Service.
• Any AI-generated output, including match suggestions or content recommendations.
• Any automated enforcement action, including content quarantine or account restriction, that is subsequently overturned on appeal.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LESSIMP'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO LESSIMP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lessimp, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the Service or any activity under your account.
• Your User Content.
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Any dispute between you and another user.
• Any action you take based on AI-generated outputs, including match recommendations.

23. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

23.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with Lessimp informally by contacting us at legal@lessimp.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receipt of your notice.

23.2 Binding Arbitration

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Lessimp agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language in the United States.

23.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND LESSIMP AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

23.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. Claims arising under consumer protection statutes that prohibit pre-dispute arbitration agreements are also excluded.

24. Termination

24.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the in-app settings or by contacting us at support@lessimp.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. A 90-day recovery window applies, as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 10: Data Retention).

24.2 By Lessimp

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms, the Morals Clause, or our community guidelines.
• Escalation to Level 4 or Level 5 of the Enforcement Ladder.
• Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, third parties, or the business interests of Lessimp.
• Requests by law enforcement or other government agencies.
• Extended periods of inactivity.
• Discontinuation or material modification of the Service.

24.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. The following provisions survive termination: Sections 5 (Morals Clause), 6 (User Content), 18 (Intellectual Property), 20 (Disclaimers), 21 (Limitation of Liability), 22 (Indemnification), 23 (Dispute Resolution), 25 (Governing Law), and 27 (General Provisions).

25. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent that arbitration does not apply, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, provide you with additional notice (such as an in-app notification or email). As described in Section 19: Zero-Touch Governance, non-material updates to community standards may be deployed programmatically with advance notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

27. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lessimp regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
• Force Majeure: Lessimp shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic, war, terrorism, or internet or telecommunications failures.
• No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
• Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
